Got a low millage, low hour 87' F700 from a private resort. BUT, the truck was de-boomed for insurance reasons about 5 years ago. Where can I get a boom?

Here is a picture:

They don't make asplundh booms anymore and a guy I know got ride of his due to lack of part available. Check out altec. You also could contact a boom company the refurbushes them, they might have a good boom and bad truck that you gould get.

first off..............asplundh boom(s) are junk!! & there is a reason the truck had the boom removed!!!! a refurbed asplundh boom is still junk cause you will never get a boom inspector to sign off on it....let alone fly the thing!!

to put a boom on that relic along with a cab cage, outriggers, etc.. will cost more than its worth!!!! use it as a chip truck & nothing more...............hell the suspension, engine & other mechanicals prolly couldnt handle the extra weight of a boom & its implements anyway!!

what you will spend on that heap to go airborne, you would of been better off to but something already outfitted!!!

only in the tree biz do guys think they can start a biz & make money whilst buying junk.........& to boot they think it`ll be reliable LMFAO!!!!
