And other things. But it is the loss of my newly re-handled axe that most upsets me.

Did not last nearly as long as the previous handles. Damn!!!
Also lost my bag, a 24" chain, ball cap, broke or bent a few other minor things, and a new steel hatchet that is being straightened out.
And to add injury to injury, I rocked two chains cutting up the offending and responsible tree. Not my day, I guess. But I did manage to add a cord of Tamarack to the wood pile, about $150 which is about a month of cabin heat.
The surviving Axe head has been polished, sharpened, repainted and to be fitted to a new handle tomorrow. Déjà vu?
