It is a shame. People don't know. 3 farmers around here pushing up tree lines/patches of trees, and I stopped to ask if I could take the wood/ logs and push the rest up into a pile to burn. All 3 said no, they didn't want the liability. I told them I would sign a waiver, they didn't care still wouldn't let me cut them. One farmer even had about 7 real nice black walnut trees he was pushing up into a pile to burn:sad:
