There's an ad in one of those tree catalogs that a lot of us get for an Alpine Magnum stumpgrinder that uses a chainsaw for a powerhead. I called about it today and checked out their website.
Just wondering if anyone here owned one and could give me a little feedback on them.

Thanks

Type in Alpine Magnum in the search engine and read the numerous threads that have been posted. I own 4 Alpines, oldest one is about ten years old. Would not go to work without one.

Hey Plyscamp

Are they really that good. My smallest grinder right now is a Mini Vermeer and I hate it. I have been thinking of the Magnum for those hard to reach places where I can't get a SC60TX or a SC252 into. Are they easy to use? How about the teeth on them do they hold a edge are they easy to change etc?
