Another splitter control question?

I have a old Speeco 25 ton splitter and the control lever keeps popping out on the return cycle, it's getting annoying. Is there an adjustment so the automatic return won't keep popping out and stopping the ram return?

You need to rebuild or replace the valve, worn components( or crud) internally in the valve are the problem. Common occurrence on valves after a number of years of use.

make sure all bots on the control are tight

Remove the handle and rotate the spool 1/2 turn ,reconnect handle. This sometimes works if a groove is worn in the detent sleeve.
