another tree ID

The bark and the clumps of blooms combined really makes me think some type of Ash... I'm no expert but I am fairly confident. The wood grain also strikes me as very similar to ash.
 
splits and bark really do look a lot like Ash. very good firewood. decent btus and dries quickly.
 
I'm saying elm ..but possibly ash
They look very similar the leaf pattern will tell the tale
 
poison ivy on white ash

Wayne, You are correct on the poision ivey! I should have been getting a ID on the ivey instead of the tree. I am covered with poison ivey! I have always seen poision ivey as growing on the ground with some small vines climing. This vine was close to 3" dia. I had no idea it was poision ivey. I am older and wiser from my adventures.
