Just got email with this being one of the items. Looks interesting, but I'd bet it's Chinese and looks to have a swivel at the base of the hose. Wonder how long it would be till the swivel starts to leak.

I was reading up on these a few months ago. Brother in law needed a new can for Christmas. Website says "built in USA" - ended up not buying one. Too rich for my blood. Ended up getting him a no spill. http://www.surecanusa.com

Looks interesting, but when it comes to fuel cans, the fewer seals, parts / joints, the better.

Too bad more things can't function better as they are designed to.

If there's one thing on earth that really chaps my ass to the fullest, it's a leaky damn gas can when you try to fuel something.

wouldn't matter to me either way within a month or so I would run over it anyway. I bought a nice 2 gal maybe 2.5 round Eagle Gas can the first week I used it I ended up on top of it with the tractor front tire. I got it back into very usable shape but there is still a dent in the top," Grrrr"

ive not met one of these newfangled californee style fuel cans that didnt leak more than the old kind. Ill stick with my fleet of old school chilton containers.

FWIW, I tried some of the poly replacement nozzels for my old gas cans & they crack at the flex spots and after I bought three thinking I had a solution to lawyered up cans I now use old style cans I got on ebay. I don't live in garage sale area plus dislike wasting time hitting many to get something so old style is my choice for now. Go to www.sumittracing.com for many to choose from. I had to throw away the newish ones after they contract and crack thus HOW are they safe?
The older Rbbermaid cans are very good but on some the nozzle gets bad, the 5 gallon nozzels are heavier.
