Ariens Log Splitters

I saw for the first time an Ariens log splitter in Home Depot tonight. Pretty nice. Robin engine and it was out of the way and out of the operator's work area. Fairly compact too.

I did some searching and read a few threads about these log splitters.

Anyone have one of these splitters with some hours on them? How are they holding-up, are you satisified with your Ariens log splitter?

The 27 ton was around $1500 and the 34 ton about $1900.

Kind of pricey me thinks.
