What would be an average compression reading for a Used chain saw ( or any other two cycle lawn equipment ) ? I am sure some would have higher readings than others based on brand but what would be an average cut off point.

Any comments greatly appreciated.

There is no such thing because gauges vary so much from gauge to gauge.

Basically 110-120 a saw is on its last leg, 120-135 probably should be shopping for rings. 135-150 is a good running saw. Over 150 you better be using premium gas
