Bar Oil Question

I'm thinking of mixing a bit of kerosene to thin up the bar oil for winter use as I've not found Winter oil around here. As the weather warms, is there any harm in continuing to run the thinner oil? I'm running 18-20" bars and not really pushing things too hard.

You'll use a lot more oil in the warmer weather and more will sling off but I dont think it will hurt anything as long as the bar or chain are never dry
