I have been noticing that my outdoor wood furnace blower has been running almost constantly.....at least every time I check it its on. Anyway my question is does anyone have any thoughts as to why this might be? It ran great all winter and we had an unusual March with warm temps where it sat smoldering for days without any problems. April turned much colder and the need to fill the furnace was back to usual winter time fixing. It just seems to be running more than usual and was wondering any of you experienced guys could help me out ?? Thanks!

mine does that when the metal flap gets stuck shut. It doesn't allow enough air through so it keeps running because temperature is never reached. It actually became a problem when i had to start a fire almost everyday because of it. I just scraped all the creosote off of it. It seems to be running fine now.
