I was at my husky dealer the other day and asked about a couple of parts saws in a box... a husky 340 & 345 both mostly complete. Offered a little cash ....a good deal for me...thinking they would say NO WAY!. They said okay, I paid, carried the cardboard box out to my truck. Then he came out with another box with two 350 part saws.....
then he came out with another box with two 357xp/359 parts saws....
then he came out with a partial 41....
....and a complete 254!!!
I was getting so excited I didn't even know how many saws I was getting. When I got them back home I was able to look through them.
Husky 41 - Has compression. Oil tank/case is melted. Someone has installed a muffler from a different saw...
254 - Has compression, but it sounds junky....like a bearing issue.
350 Family - haven't yet got into them.
357/359 - already put together a good running saw !!!
