valve in carb

the little silver disc is a welch plug, had mine fall out on my dolmar 120si. after a carb kit she runs like a kitten on redbull.

the welch plug when it fell out probably was holding the needle valve closed so yoursaw was getting no fuel, or not enough. and to much pressure in the primer bulb.

but i got to the post to late as you had gotten the saw fixed. glad to see that.

Actually the primer doesn't really "prime", it purges the air from the carb.
It pulls fuel up through the fuel filter, through the carb, then returns back
to the tank. You need to keep that in mind if you have the lines disconnected

If the whole carb/filter is not loose, then you will need to disassemble the carb and clean it out. The diaphragms are still likely ok, but if real stiff,
get a new kit. I just helped another guy here this week with a similar saw,
I have to go now, maybe one of these other guys can help you find the thread, If not, I will be back in an hour or so.
