Trying them all
I am working on a Poulan (Weed Eater) blower and the fuel lines were in pieces, the filter was gone and I am unsure of which line goes where. There are two line ports on the carb. One is near the primer bulb and the other below it. There are two holes in the fuel tank. One hole is slightly larger than the other but the two ports on the carb are the same size. So does the fuel filter go on the larger hose or smaller hose? And does the larger hose go to the part of the carb near the primer? or not?
I put the filter on the small hose since it was closer to the bottom of the tank and put that on the port near the center of the carb. The larger hose I put near the primer bulb as I assumed it was a vent.
The saw only runs on fuel directly into the carb. it isn't drawing from the tank.
I did have the carb apart and verified it was clean.
