I had a load of big maple delivered last year. I used a stickler log splitter on my hydraulic auger to break it into smaller pieces. The back didn't go near it until it was in one man moveable sized.

Cool looking machine, but painfully slow. I don't know how anybody could ever justify laying out the kind of $ is would take to buy one of those.
