when turning H and L screws, 3/4 and 1/4 turns are clockwise or counter?

Turn both needles, carefully, clockwise until they bottom out, do not force them tight, just light contact. If tightened they might damage the seat and needle. Then turn out, counter clockwise, one turn is considered a good starting point
