Cool saw!

...but I don't really understand how those handles are supposed to be used in one-man operation?

quite simple actually, if you are located behind the saw.
the Aluminimum plate allows you to hold the saw against your belly and with the handles in the right spot, you can saw away. Not for the operators with a weak back though.
