Looks like a capital L on the end of Stihl - couldn't they spell back then?

Maybe that capital L is like a mis-struck coin and makes the bar very valuable. $5,000 plus shipping and it can be yours. OBO.

That depends on how many people would want the service. The price would drop significantly the more people go in on it.

For about $200 I could set you up with everything you need to DIY any engraving you want (up to about 3"x3").

That's a very interesting bar you have there!.......Build date and bar mount code would indicate its from a Stihl 1106 series saw.
5000 Pesos you say.

It came on my 070. The bar groove is too shallow from multiple servicings so it really is only suited for display purposes.
I suppose one could use a 3/8 chain which has shallower drivers...

Who is it, westcoaster90?, who has a bar shop that can re-cut the groove. I think he said he also has a hammer mill so he can change the gauge.

Strange, you say the rails are worn down that much though the bar appears to have quite a lot of its original paint.

I don't think there is any paint on the bar. Just a patina.

The second bar is the model that came with the original S-10, had one pass by on the way to the dealer telling them it wasn't fixable

seems long for an S10 at 32" though... The dark bar is shorter, maybe 28" or so.
