they have a flippy style cap ,extra crankcase bolts ,new style muffler, and the el46 carb.

What did they change about the muffler? For better or worse?
Have seen alot of issues with the el46 carb?

Randy would have to agree,

even his best 346 or 261 won't be worth a flying flock if the chain is blunt or rakers not properly set up for the saw.

Running a toasted chain on a hot rod would be akin to running 4 donut spares on a Viper.

When you are talking chainsaws the CHAIN is where the rubber meets the road!

Who was it that said "a sharp chain is the best mod you can do for ANY saw"?

After 30 years, they burn more like coal than wood...
Would have used the 562 too, but it's chain is too nice to kill on those things...
