Did you add an indexing pin to the piston, or should I say "two Pins" if you widened the groove?Rings came from another brand of saw, (some things are racing secrets), I made a tool to take .3 mm out of the land. And as far as the revs go , I measured at stock form and 12500 is what I got, I do hear it popping off on the chip, I thought it was a little lean, but my tach says 14500 free rev measured at the clutch drum. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, maybe I have a crappy tach . And I did pin the second ring, I think the combustion pressure should hold it, maybe I should,. And the guy who was asking about the reed, yes it is part of the Strato-charging process.
Tach may be off, just do not hear 14,500. It would be screaming.What sort of tach do you have that measures rpms at the cluth drum? And it doesnt sound like its hitting the rev limitter, just sounds way rich to me...
