Dolmar 7900 vent

I don't remember having so much pressure when I open the gas cap. Is my vent pluged? I had 1/2 tank of fuel, on a cool day, with the chainsaw just sitting still, laid it flat, oped the cap and air & gas came flowing out. How do I check the vent?

That's normal the vent only works one way. What you don't want is vacuum.
