Didn't see a heading for tech questions, so I figured I'd try here. I have run stihls always. Came upon a good deal on a dolmar ps9000, what the hell I'll try most things once. Run it hard couple times and fried the piston(twice). Will a jug kit from a 9010 work on a 9000? I like the saw ok, but from what i'm gatherin', dolmars to stihls are kinda like comparin' a cummins to a cat. Cummins good enuff engine but not balls tuff like cat. Anyway, I got time in this saw and would like to give it another chance. Looks like a 9010 jug kit will work, just want to be sure cuz I cant find a 9000 jug kit, and I already used a golf piston(once) in it and it puked as well. I cut big wood and rip as well. Is a dolmar just to light duty of a saw to expect to hold up to ripping? Any help appreciated. COOP
