Echo cs-490 vs Makita/Dolmar 5121/510

While I love my cs-590. I would also probably like a dolmar just as well. Only thing that sucks about Alabama is there are maybe 2-3 dolmar dealers in the whole state I think? There are 5-10 echo and stihl dealers and 3 husqvarna dealers fairly close to me. I would choose a dolmar over a stihl or husqvarna just simply because of what you get for the money but echo does fine for me and I have support as well.

The fact is that it takes less than 20 minutes to pull the tube out of the muff pull the tabs and retune and yes it will run with the Dolmar then. Steve

Laugh all you want . Plenty of vids on youtube with those saws running right with the other good 50cc saws, go look or should I bring some up for you. Plus I'll run my muff modded CS500 against any of them. It might win or lose BUT it will be close. Steve
