I recently purchased a cs530 from the trading post. It is set up with 18" .325 b&c. The bar is pretty worn, so i am thinking of replacing it. Either 18" or 20"

I plan to mm and pull the limiters.

My other echos cs-310 and cs-370 all are .375 .050 lp set ups.

It would be nice to be able to swap bars between the saws, is there a reason not to go 3/8 or3/8 lp on the 530?

The sprocket rims confuse me also. Which size do i need? Will the 3/8 one work with lp and full size 3/8?

If switching from .325 to 3/8 or3/8lp should i go up a tooth?

Special tools for swapping rims?or will a dealer do this for a resonable fee.

Looking at oregons website , looks like no 3/8lp rims.

I have a couple of nearly new 20" .325 .050 loops from a saw I no longer have.

Can someone point me in the right direction for a suitable bar or combo. Thanks.
