electric chain sharpener...

wife got me one from Tractor Store. The one you mount on a bench and I set it up and sharpened a few loops and what a great surprise I got. I suck at filing and have tried numerous gadgets, but this thing really put a sharp edge on it. I was cutting and actually seeing chips (not dust and smoke) and the saws did all the work not me pushing.

On a side note - I bought a neat little 028 super that screams. Seems to be leaking bar oil though. Any suggestions?

Yea I know what you mean I suck at file work also. I went for a chain grinder right away and found for myself to be much easier. I have a 8 power visor I wear so I can really see the cutter as I am grinding. This lets me take just the right amount off instead of wasting any of the chain from over grinding.
