Okay, was reading the thread about HD premix gas in quarts cans. Seems pretty expensive to me. So I dug up this thread and here I am. Based on what I am reading combined with my own experience having run pump gas in my equipment now for quite some time I am thinking the only real problem with ethanol enriched gasolines is that the ethanol tends to degrade any buna-type rubber hosed, gaskets, etc. in the fuel system. The extra oxygen can also cause a saw to run a bit lean which can be adjusted out at the carb jets. So, is there any other problem with ethanol besides rubber parts getting eaten away?
