I was cutting with it the other day (half breed 064 with 066 fuel tank etc)
and it started to run "funny" is this thing running lean?
Yesterday I had a little more cutting to do, and concluded that indeed it is running lean. Fetched a screw driver and gave it a bit more on the L and H.
No difference. Shut it down, and get the other saw. later on, at the shop take it apart. Doesn't take long, and pressure/vacuum test it. Passed that nicely.
Ok.... Open up the carburetor.
Never seen this happen before.

That is the little screen that goes from pump side to needle. Quite plugged up. I have no idea how that stuff got past the orange filter that was in the fuel tank. but it did.
Oh well, I will clean it all up, and replace the bolt that was missing on my muffler, and keep going!

not cracked line this time (that is what happened last year tho).
it's that little filter... screen.
I fished it out and it's laying on the carburetor staring at ya...

Start at the fuel. Definitely replace the filter. I would replace the hose in the shop. I less thing for a comeback.
That stuff came up the line from somewhere. Replace fuel parts or do a top end (if you are lucky).
Your choice.
