Can someone recommend what grease I should be using on the oil pump drive? (Husky 365)
Only had the clutch off a few times and grease the plastic pump drive with high temp grease.
Should I be packing grease into the pump gear as well?
Ive found it tends to disappear, also noticed the same for the idler bearing.
Thanks in advance.

I was told enough of the bar oil gets by to keep everything in and under the clutch bell lubed.
That is true as a generalization, but I always lube the clutch bearing and worm whenever I am in there or during assembly. I use a synthetic grease made by Loctite called Viperlube.

Like Simon, when assembling I put in a small amount of grease, and often a few drops of oils. I just use the grease stihl supplies for the sprocket bearings. No idea what it is, but it works fine. Apart from that, the oil pump requires no regular maintenance.
