First, I found a 361 for $400 on Craigslist.
Found out it was well taken care of.
The guy did a muffler mod to it already and had it tuned at a local shop.
It's been used, but looks like it should after 2 years. Not abused.
I hope :greenchainsaw:

Next I found a guy with about an acre of birch, oak, maple, and a few poplars.
He wants them all cleared and said I can take them all for firewood.
Hell take care of the brush.
He lives about 6 miles from me.
I can take my time getting it cleared out.

Score one for the good guys! Nice saw and decent price too. Wonder if the previous owner is a member due too the muffler mod? FRee wood is the best kind!

You have your work cut out for doing that clearing work, renting something to mow down the undergrowth will make it much easier, and more importantly, safer for you to work. Stay safe.

Good score on the hot rod 361.

Thanks Guys,
I just can't wait to get started.
There are some 1-2" trees/brush growing in between, but not too thick.
I think the canopy is thick enough in the summer to keep it fairly clean in there.
And, the weeds haven't begun to grow yet.
I'll give you guys a woodtick count if I'm still at it in the middle of june!

I was thinking he might be a member too, cuz of the muff mod.
But, he didn't tune it himself, so I dunno?:)
He says he has a problem with buying too many saws, so...

Mega score on both accounts. The 361 is a great machine, and free wood for that eager beaver to chew on.  Life is good:cheers:

Got my first load today after work.
Saw runs great.
Very snappy and good power.
