HAIX or Other Boots

I've been cutting my own firewood for a while now and have had a few close calls that increased the pucker factor ten-fold. When the bank account lets me I'm going to start buying some protective gear like gloves, boots, chaps, etc. Anyone have experience with HAIX boots? They are pricey and I'm wondering if they are worth the price.
