HELLO EVERYONE
THIS IS MY FIRST TRY AT THIS. HAVE BEEN READING PAST THREADS, VERY INTERRESTING. THIS IS MY STORY;
I OWN A SMALL TREE CO. I ALWAYS INJOYED GOING OUT WITH THE GUYS AND PLAYING IN THE TREES. IF THEY HAD A QUESTION, OR NEEDED SOME GUIDIANCE I WOULD UP TREE I GO. I WAS IN HEAVEN. 2 1/2 YEARS AGO I WAS OUT PLAYING IN THE TREES, WHEN A PAIN CAME IN MY SHOULDER. PAID NO ATTENTION TO THE WARNING, UNTIL THREE DAYS LATER PAIN SO BAD COULD NOT USE ARM. NOT A PROBLEM. SEE A DR. GET PILLS COUPLE DAYS REST GOOD AS NEW.WRONG. I ALWAYS THOUGHT MY KNEES WOULD HAVE ENDED MY CLIMBING CARRER. NOW IF I TRY AND SHARE THE LITTLE TRICKS YOU LEARN WITH EXPERINCE THEY LOOK AT YME LIKE I'M A HASBEEN. THEIR IS HARDLY A DAY GOES BY I DON'T WISH " JUST LET ME HAVE ONE MORE CLIMB." I KNOW THINGS COULD BE WORST. IF I DID NOT OWN MY COMPANY I MIGHT HAVE TO GO WORK AT WALMART. SO IN CLOSING INJOY EVER CLIMB IT MIGHT BE YOUR LAST.

Hi Cutemup,Sorry to hear about your shoulder problem. Before you give up, get a second, even third opinion.I tore my rotater cuff and thought surgery was ahead. But a different doc ,some rest and some phsysical theropy has me at about 80%.Maybe seek a specialist concerning shoulders,I'll bet they can get you up in the canopy again.Let us know.

Speaking of last climbs...did you guys see on TLC last nite, a show where they hang out in emergency rooms and follow patients through their treatment?
Anyway this guy takes an unsecured fall from a ten foot ladder and lands on a small tree, about three inches diameter. It goes two feet up his butt!
The rescue guys had to cut him down, then take him to the hospital with this three foot branch sticking out. The doctors put im under, cut him open and remove the branch in three peices, from the front. Lucky no major organs lost, in fact, very little internal damage, considering.
While I was working today all I could think about was all the pointy things below...:eek:

A troll is a person who comes into a board looking for an argument. Here it is "topping is good" or in a recent case "I'm 22 years old, been working in the industry 2 days and am going to satrt my own company next month. Any good suggestions."

Some have started to leap before they look now.

Welcom aboard.

BTW, when you type ALLCAPS online it is akin to shouting.

Sorry, I should have put a smiley :) or ;) in to set the tone. Just kidding around.

Pull up a chair and join the crowd. You'll have a good time here, really.

Being compared to JPS is considered quite an honor. We can't figure out if John has a typing problem or a spelling problem. He seems to be comfortable with his "issues" though :) :)

I don't think anyone's trying to be mean, just poking a little good natured fun around.

Me too, mikey.

cutemup, welcome, and sorry 'bout the shoulder.

An ex-employee of mine jammed his a couple yrs ago, separated it, wouldnt quit working, I let him, he ended up having surgery. I felt bad for not insisting he give it time to heal....and ended up with a much larger workmans's comp claim.

and another bud just had major surgery on his shoulder. He doesn't even know how or when the injury occured.
