It is a big deal because if all the AS members that list items on ebay also listed them here at the same time it would be a huge mess. The number of listings would be huge. In my opinion a better choice would be to list your item here first. If it did not sell after a period of time then list it on ebay. Many members have done this successfully.

I just think it would be helpful to new members to have it listed in the guidelines. Someone brand new to the site likely doesn't know how sponsorship works. Knowhutimean?
