I've been using chainsaws for 41 years since I moved to my bush block.

The first saw was and still is,
a Stihl AV056 a heavy unit that's getting heavier by the day.
I built some of my house with it using it in a Canadian mill to slab some decent size logs.
At the moment I'm clearing some large rotted logs.

I hope to tackle one as much as 4 foot through but the 056 is a cantankerous so and so.

Thirty years ago I bought a Stihl 036 and recently a couple of stihl battery saws 200C and 220C
Those battery saws are a real buzz.

Welcome, nice assortment of old and new iron.
Always something new to learn when messing about with saws, either on how to maintain them, or use them.

yeah, the 056 is heavy, but only when you lift it. :)
