How do I remove the clutch and drum from my 440?

If ur having trouble removing the drum, make sure the chain brake is off, if it is engaged it is what will hold the drum in place

Check the holes where the springs connect on the shoes and make sure they are still round. If they are oblong or look worn replace them also. At that point just get the whole assembly. Even if you just need the springs, You will probably still have to take the clutch off to get the springs installed.
