I run stihl ultra and shell 93 octane. I want to know how long the mix is good. I don't want to ruin a good saw. The mix I have now is maybe a month 1/2 or so old. What do ya think is it any good or no?

I think it will all depend on how you store it. But at any rate, a 1/2 month...id run it. I have used fuel a couple months old, but my stuff is sealed up good.

My fuel is 1 1/2 months old. It's sealed up except for vent.

I wouldn't run it after a month in my saws. In other engines like lawnmowers or snowblowers sure if its stablized. Its not worth it to me. I only mix a couple weeks worth at a time so I don't have it too long. Is a couple of bucks in fuel worth the repairs on a saw if something does happen? Thats the way I think about it. I use 93 octane Stihl Ultra too.

Me wants to be safe! Looks like the old ford is getting a couple of gallons of mix.
