I have an old 8hp briggs and stratton wood splitter. Custom built out of old stuff. The gas cap that comes on it isnt vented so it either starves the engine or spews gas slowly as i work. Seems to be the same thread as a gas can. Should I find a new vented cap and tank, or just vent the cap i have?
