HUSKY 545 Good Price?

Hello I recieved price of $489 for a husky 545 with a 18 inch bar from a local dealer in San Antonio.Is that a fair price? Does anyone know what the Jonsered equivelent is?

Any thoughts on the 18 inch bar or do I need 16inch?

I run an 18" on mine with no issues. Mainly in hardwood < 12"

I prefer the 18 inch bar.

Good price, I'd go 18" for a little extra reach, 16 makes for a slightly more nimble saw.

Depends. If your 22 a 16" bar will handle better and cut a shad better. If your 42 an 18" bar may help you not bend over quite as much and your back will likely ache a shad less.

Edit: 18" on mine.
