Will check that out and get back to you peacock on the rpm load free and out of the wood. Compression is high.
 
Does a decomp on a stock saw affect its performance? Or just when you bump up the compression?

I don't think it affects anything, as long as it is in order and not used - but if it is used it will eventually wear, and leak some compression.

Finally got to watch it......

Impressive Booker! Looks like a light powerhouse, that little mug is screaming.:dizzy: Does TST think it will hold up as a work saw?

Would it have cut with an 044 in 16-18" wood, with a 20" bar and 3/8, if it truely was stock.....LOL

He claimed it was, don't know.......that would be bad if it was modded. He wanted to pull our top covers and look at the cylinders for some reason, must have thought I had a 2 pc head, LOL. I know a stock cylinder can look stock but be ported all to hell, defeats the purpose of looking. Maybe a tear down would have shown the truth. However, round 2 will not be in his favor.;)

btw, Freds 044 should have been real close to his 460 but we didn't spend any time tuning it, I sent him a DP cover and hope it wakes the animal up. Just cutting here at the house, my DP 440 was around 11.0-11.2 in the same stuff.

This saw will be tested as a ground saw when logging this fall. So we will see. TsT will stand behind there work. The great thing is this saw isn't even broken in yet. 4th tank so we will see.
