i recently inherited a husky 261(1998 new in box-never had fuel in it).it will start and run for about 5 seconds and then stop-i replaced fuel line, fuel filter, vent tube, spark plug-no change.if you open the fuel cap fuel will come out of fuel line at carb-if the fuel cap is closed no fuel comes out.obviously fuel starvation from some type of pressure difference but i can not figure it out. any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated-THANKS!

First thing I would check is both diaphragms... pull the covers loose and have a look.
They might be overly stiff even though the saw has never had fuel in it but the saw is 17 years old none the less.
