I see this thread is old but....Op...did you mod the muffler? would like to know what you did because I think my muffler is same as yours but different than what others have posted in 261 to 262 muffler mod threads.

Watching videos of saws cutting can be confusing. It can look slow sometimes but we must realize the bar is completely buried and the nose is cutting too. That’s a rough position for the saw to cut in. I look at the chips being exhausted too. Good job porting the saw. It’s screaming in the cut.
