I agree totally, but there's an etiquette to it. Every time a newer member posts about re-building a NW production sized saw the inevitable pitch to send it out to him is going to get hammered out on his slobber covered keyboard. He has to start somewhere.

Sure it will. I've sent three saws out to two different guys. Neither pitched me. Their work sold itself either first hand or through conversation. If I don't say anything it wont get said.
Never, we love them. What are you are going to say next? I post too many build threads?

I read through to post #74 (last post at the moment) So many "newbees"come on strong with the CAD yet neglect to do any previous reading and some want to punch out the cylinder which means they haven't a clue about chrome/nikisil plating .View attachment 767286 So I bought a running 365 this evening for $20. Date code shows mfg date of 2000. It’s gritty and well used. Plan to clean it up this week and pull the muff to get a peak at things. What ya fellers know about this saw? Any words of wisdom on fixing her up?

A 920 and 49 sp just because and just worked over 3 2186's for my friend -- 2 with fins broke off so top hat wouldn't fit well one was scored from the fuel line loose and the vent restricted carbs were due for kit (Never been into) and new rubber for peace of mindAny red ones?. No need to be poor.
