Hey friends,
Occasionally when i point the bar downwards to disengage the chain brake it'll die on me.
It's a 2017 model and had a carburetor replaced in 2018 due to bog idle, stalling at idle etc.

Any ideas?

Sounds like an air leak.
P&V test is in order. May try carb cleaner tick sprayed around intake boot while idling and see if rpm change.

Could also be fuel pooling in the intake. When you point the bar down a slug of fuel causes the saw to stall. If so, leaning out the "L" should help. The Stihl 026/MS260 were known for this but mostly only with certain carburetor models.

Are 545/550 known to have leaks on any specific location?

Seve it's an autotune lol
