Husqvarna 560 chain `325 for firewood

Please advice some best quality chain for cutting firewood, sometime very dirty wood. Which brand and model would stay sharp longer.

Welcome to AS. Lots of good info on here, almost overwhelming sometimes. I will assume you are using .050 gauge chain as it is the most common. It cuts fast and stays sharp longer than full chisel.

The only semi-chisel i like is Stihl RM and thats what we use 90% of the time.

I like the Stihl RM, but like the Oregon a little better, has a longer cutter and cuts very good.

Stihl chain has always held the edge longer than any Oregon I've used.
Although, to be 100% honest, I ain't used anything but stihl in several years... so i can't be sure my observation still holds true.

The cutters on Stihl chain are tempered a bit harder and some say there is a thicker chrome layer also. So yes it will hold an edge a little longer. But seems Oregon has closed the gap a little. I just like the way Oregon cuts better and it is a bit easier to sharpen.
