I recently bought a new 572, maybe has three tanks through it so far. I'm cutting in Texas heat in hard oak careful not to bog the saw. I've noticed the clutch cover gets hotter on this saw than any of my others. After a tank of fuel I can barely keep my hand on the clutch cover for more than a few secs. Chain is sharp and it is oiling, though not as much as I would like but I have the oiler maxed so I suppose that is what it is. Anyone else have experienced this with their 572? Is this heat normal for a inboard clutch? Any input would be much appreciated.
