So I just called up my dealer, gave them the part numbers for the hd filter and new base, then the kit number Derf posted and got, well have to call you back...... is this stuff available yet?

Also it says upgrade and ability to take 28” bar...?
Even the old version was rated to a 28" bar.

Do the upgraded bearings mean it has a larger bearings to accommodate the extra ball or are they just smaller balls.
I'd assume smaller balls, its has to fit the same size hole, so without making the races thinner, the balls would have to be smaller.
Allow me to be the first to say, "My 562 has bigger balls than yours!"

Well I thought I'd update you guys. So I finally got that call back from the dealer about the upgrade kits. They can get the kit for the xpg but not the standard xp model (which is what I have) can anyone tell me why I couldnt run the set up for the xpg on an xp? I'm assuming it has something to do with the carb heater, but I cant really see how they would be that different for the air filter to carb mount.
The carb wall on the XP is black, the carb wall on the XPG is blue. The XPG has a location to mount a carb heater yes, but it also comes with a winter mesh filter. The XP comes with a standard filter.

As of the mid-2020, Husqvarna is offering three filters for the updated 562xp/xpg design.
A “non-woven filter” 590458803
Nylon 25um yellow filter 590458802
Nylon 66um black filter 590458801
The 66um should only be used in winter cutting.
Prior to the mid-2020 filter redesign, the filter options are
Felt white filter 522675003
Nylon 25um orange filter 522675004
Nylon 44um yellow filter 522675002
Nylon 80um black filter 522675001
The 80um should only be used in winter cutting. My 2015 562xpg came with the yellow 44um filter from the factory.
