I bought a Makita chainsaw today.

I bought this little top-handle saw today. This is my first battery chainsaw and it seems cool. The battery and charger come tomorrow and I will put a YouTube video of it around Tuesday afternoon.

I have 3 Makita 18v lxt battery chainsaws. Went out to take a picture of this model and it apparently has been in use and not where I expected it to be. Initially it was a shocking disappointment for lack of power compared to the double battery ones but as time goes by it is often the one taken, albeit often with a gasoline one as well.

They got the time out till turn off and the real nut for the chain cover (no clutch cover on these) pretty much right on this one.

I do love my battery powered drills. I haven't used my Dewalt electric impact drill in a decade. I can see myself using battery chainsaw to trim the low hanging branches, but grabbing them and breaking them off works too.

I have the 36v version and its controls are handy, but it weighs the same as my 200t and only has 192 power.
