Went out today for a load with the 440, and the dump truck. Working on some piles of stuff that was a mess to work on. Yank the trees from the pile with a chain and a pickup. Block it up. Wasn't going too badly in spite of a nice layer of snow. The 440 is the saw for me. near perfect match. I was starting to get used to a 460 but was un-happy about the weight after a full day (I know, butch up). I also noticed that it seems that the 440 is more efficient with fuel than the larger saw.
Sort of the maiden voyage for the dump truck. I spent all winter working on the beast. 1974 Dodge W200 with a flatbed. It wasn't stuck, the speedo said I was doing 30! This thing is the worst vehicle I have ever tried to drive in snow. With about a cord and a half of green blocks on it traction improved, slightly.
