I'm still cutting big old white pines down and milling them into lumber. Here's one i took down today...
First i took all the lower limbs off, knotched it and put the "timber jack" in place...
This one was leaning a little, and for once it was leaning in the "right" direction! So over it went rather nicely..
This was a pretty decent tree, and it had a nice 16' 6" butt log in it..
I think it will also have one decent top log in it too although it will be shorter...
Well, that's it for today, maybe tomorrow i'll get it skidded out and home?
Hope you enjoyed the picts..
