Replacing the engine next weekend. Replaced the hydrolic control 3 years ago. What is this rated in tons?
I have used it for 3 years and it handles oak and hickory logs up to 15 inches ok. Larger diameter logs can be "nibbled" until even they succumb. I split about 4 cords per yard.
Engine date of mfg. is 10/1982, so it should be close to that.
It is a Flowtron brand.
