My local dealer has a sale on the only 372xpgw he has. Does the full wrap have 4 more cc's than the 372xp? I thought I read that somewhere. Is there much weight difference between the two? Thanks in advance.

It is heavier than the regular 372 due mostly to the full wrap here you go

SPECIFICATIONS:
Cylinder displacement: 4.55 cu. inch / 74.66 cc

Power: 5.4 hp / 3.9 kW

Max RPM: 13,500

Fuel tank volume: 1.63 US pint / .77 liter

Oil tank volume: .84 US pint / 0.40 liter

Weight (powerhead only): 14.75 lbs.

Chain Pitch: 3/8"

Here are the regular 372 specs

Specifications:

Cylinder displacement: 70.7 cm³ / 4.3 cu.inch
Power: 3.9 kW / 5.4 hp
Weight (without cutting equipment) 6.1 kg, 13.4 lbs.
Chain pitch: 3/8 inch

I would recomend bar length of 16"-32"

Thats almost a pound and a half more. I didn't think it would be that much. Thanks for the info.

my 372Xp dry weight = 14.5lbs

I weighed my 372XP (half wrap) as soon as it arrived - Dry weight out of the box w/ no bar and no chain = 14.5 pounds. I think many here have observed a disparity between advertised and actual weight.

The little sticker on the cylinder top says the cc's on the U.S. versions. It should say either 71cc or 75cc on the stickers, but the ones I have seen do have it listed on the sticker. It is 70.7cc and 74.66cc in real not rounded off numbers.

Besides just the full wrap, you have a bigger set of dawgs.
With the heated grips you have the eletrical charging system that has a winding under the flywheel and a second on-off switch. This all adds weight.

I've never run a 361 and I'm not a pro by any means, but my 357 XP is a hoot to cut firewood with. JMHO

It would be interesting to know what bars (exact model) and chains were on those saws, and how much crud was in them, as the empty powerhead of the 361 is halv a pound, or a bit more, lighter......:givebeer:
